As for the question, it is possible to embed a font in Adobe InDesign. Here's how you can do it:
Install the Power Geez Unicode1 font on your Windows 7 system.
Launch Adobe InDesign.
Open your document or create a new one.
Go to the "File" menu and choose "Document Fonts".
In the "Document Fonts" dialog box, click on the "Add Fonts" button.
Browse to the location where the Power Geez font is installed on your system.
Select the font and click "Open" to add it to your document.
Ensure that the font is used for the Amharic translation within your document.
Save your InDesign document.
By embedding the Power Geez font, you will ensure that it is included within the document for printing, even if the font is not installed on the system where the document is opened.

Power Ge'ez 2010 it is a utility developed by Concepts Data Systems that allows you to type Amharic on Windows applications. It is compatible with Office 97, Office 2000, Office 2003, Office 2007 and Office 2010. In order to type Amharic on Microsoft Excel 2013 documents, I suggest you download and install Google Input Tools - Amharic. Navigate to the official web page, check the box next to Amharic, and click Download. Install the tool following the on-screen instructions and open your Excel 2013 document. Click the Click to view icon from System Tray and select AM Amharic (Ethiopia) instead of EN.
Power Ge'ez 2010 is not working properly with Excel 2013. It's OK with Word 2013. Is there any way to resolve the issue?

The application is not available anymore which means the support is practically nonexistent. If you managed to run the application, it's pure luck. Compatibility is at minimum. However, if you have the application, right click it and change its compatibility to a previous version of Windows. This will ensure that compatibility is somewhat increased. After this process attempt to work with the software and Excel. Unfortunately, it's the only way for a discontinued application.
I am now using power geez 2010 (and Windos 7). However, when I open my old word documents written in power geez 2000, some characters (ታ and እ) are replace by blank spaces. Any help is appreciated. Mesfin
